DJ Andromeda is half Greek half Cornish. She moved to Britain
to study Art and she ended up with a pair of decks a passion
for dance music. She currently lives in Devon.

"I don't have a purist approach to breaks. I like funky breaks as well as the techier side, and if I hear a house/techno or trip hop track that gets me going, I use it too."

Andromeda has often experimented by incorporating a live element into her sets. Her first collaboration was in 2001with flautist Stephanie Hammarstrand from France, and her second was in 2002 with scratch DJ Rexxy and percussionist Colin McCormick.

"I am fortunate in that I have had the chance to play alongside very inspiring people such as Danny McMillan, Phantom Beats, Stabilizer, Femmes With Fatal Breaks(Berlin), Elite Force, Will Propellerhead, Leeroy Prodigy, Elite Force and more."
